Someone(s) Using a beautiful tulip tree in the Green for storage or depository. This shows the kind of thing that is going on in the Green - the center of our city.

It is nice that the Town Green Assoc. has put the tables and chairs out in the Temple courtyard. Unfortunately, this needs to be policed because it has generated drinking out of brown paper bags, pot smoking, and trading of stolen goods.

Thanks to the CTDOT for the proposed paving of the streets around the 95/91 interchange. Grand Avenue is already a speeding haven, so when it is repaved, I am terrified how fast people will go. Please please please can the city install speed bumps, stop signs, dips, anything! Thank you.

Why does the city not follow the metal signs that are already on the streets (however faded and illegible some may be) for street sweeping? instead, they have to travel around posting paper signs on trees and then Robo-call everyone as if this were an emergency. This is a lot of work to sweep seemingly at random, temporarily change a system, and to ignore the schedule already in place. Furthermore, anyone who is out of town for more than one day cannot react to the temporary sign posting and Robo-calls to move his/her car. The more Robo-calls I get, the more I want to ignore them: something is wrong when true emergencies such as a hurricane or a drug overdose epidemic are alerted with the same immediacy as street sweeping schedule change boondoggles...

Bike lanes - double yellow lines in the opposite direction of traffic. This is a wonderful thing! I just wanted to say than you to those who helped with this! And please let's have more!! Wall St? Orange? Court?! Way to go folks.

Multiple issues here: motorcycle parking In a pedestrian green space? Pesticide use where dogs and children play? Dead grass with sprinkler running constantly when new sod was laid a month ago (monoculture lawn not a good choice). Town green - help!

Standing water behind Shubert Theater, Crown St Garage, Kitchen Zinc facing the Temple Street courtyard. There are two planters with Climbing Hydrangea that are full of stagnant water: killing the vines and a breeding ground for Mosquitos.

Dirt bikers - at least 10 dirt bikes and a four wheeler screaming down Grand toward downtown - so much noise and havoc in the street! Then, about 10 minutes later, a group of 14 motorcycles speeds through a red light at Grand and Jefferson doing wheelies. Running lights and through intersections. Everywhere. Do something!

Lights on building in Lenzi park are out. This light would significantly increase safety of park and along Jefferson St, especially as trees leaf out.

Large collection of potholes - no drainage creates a lake when rain or thaw for pedestrians and covering all potholes. Small recent patches don't address the problem.

there are splattered piles of vomit around downtown in alleys and side streets - see in front of the Shubert Theater, in the alley next to Kitchen Zinc from Chapel Street to the Temple Courtyard, in the Green. It makes walking around downtown very unappealing. Is this a policing issue (public drunkenness)? Is it a public health issue (intoxication)? Regardless, it is a quality of city life issue. I will spare your appetite by not posting a photograph.
