Description

Fire hydrant on colony and Moreland in beaver hills is leaking slowly but steadily from various points. I've never seen it like that.

The New Haven Fire Department is doing its winter hydrant checks, and what you may be seeing is some residual water left over from the tests. However, we called them to report this one because you describe it as leaking. We may see a few more before their winter checks are completed. Thank you for reporting it.
