At least 15 cars today parked along street.

This continues to be a major problem! Yesterday (1/26) there were 20 cars parked on Rockdale! This morning (1/27) there were 8! PLEASE help before someone gets hurt! The residents of this area need to be able to safely pass on the streets and the people that use these streets to get to work need to be able to get to the intersection and check traffic before turning onto adjoining streets.

Evidently the construction workers have NO RESPECT for the City of Raleigh or the City of Raleigh condones this! This morning, 2/22/16, there were 14 cars parked along Rockdale between Dartmouth and Lynwood Lane and another 12 cars parked along both sides of Rockdale in the short end! A total of 26 cars and people to make sure you don't hit or sideswipe in the morning! I believe no one came to investigate because the cars are there every morning. Some mornings there are 6-8 but there are some days like today there are 18+. It is a safety issue for those in cars trying to get to work but also for those walking to the bus stop at North Hills, kids walking to Carroll MS, or those just walking their pets!

I guess it will take an incident of some sort to get this issue resolved. When did our residential streets get turned into parking decks for the workers at North Hills? Why can't someone (such as the employer) make arrangements for parking for these people? Why do we have to be inconvenienced because no one from the city of Raleigh will do something, such as leaving notices requesting them to find another place to park? There are no sidewalks on Rockdale and walking is an even bigger problem. Let's see what you will do.
