Thanks for posting again. We did look into the issue. There is a sewer realignment project going on under the street by the Water Pollution Control Authority, and they have experienced some delays. The Department of Public Works is aware of the plates being there. I am going to send this over to them now. Hopefully they will be able to help secure the plates soon.

In the future, if the plates shift call the Department of Public Works directly at 203-946-7700. This will bring it to our attention faster than posting here.

Finally, since this is a duplicate issue, I am going to close the previous post about Webster St. This is to help us better manage the volume of issues being posted on the website.

Plates have moved again and are now causing extremely rough road conditions- where can I put in a claim for damages to my car caused by these plates that keep moving exposing the hole below?

We adjusted plates and repairs being done by WPCA today-September 24
