This is inexcusable! I worked hard with the JLS District to enhance and repair the lighting and to clean that underpass, and now it's been trashed, and the electrical fixtures have been broken.
We're supposed to respect these jerks because they're our "neighbors" with "deep roots in the community"? Hogwash! Where is THEIR respect for THEIR neighbors?
"Homelessness" is no excuse. They might even be longtime Oakland residents, but it's no wonder that none of their (former) neighbors will put them up.
