when leaving wawa an wanting to go east on rt. 30 . at that light there should be a left arrow so a person can turn left when traffic is heavy cause of the train traffic.
As an alternative, exit Wawa from behind the adjacent drugstore, turn right, right again on Zinn Rd, and right on N. Bailey Road. It seems like the long way around, but if you're waiting for 3 traffic light cycles (and who can predict how many?), the long way is quicker.
There is also extreme contention as drivers trying to make the left turn out of Wawa cut off those turning right from South Bailey. This is a dangerous situation and needs to be remedied. In addition, consideration should be given to a light for Hazelwood and South Bailey that is timed for Train arrivals during rush hour as there should be a smoother transition. This liight should also be timed to the light on Rt 30 to allow a greater number of cars to move. I am not sure how it could be done given the nature of the detail of the Hazelwood South Bailey intersection but it should be considered if at all possible
