Intersection at State St /Mechanic / Lawrence is very dangerous and in need of a Stop sign. Traffic heading north from state street onto mechanic st constantly assumes traffic coming from Lawrence Street has Stop sign (which they don't). Traffic from this direction which is not required to stop is also very dangerous for pedestrians.
Also traffic in this intersection has increased with the new Corsair Apartments as well as the re-opening of the State st. Bridge.
