Okay, nobody cares what the signs say, where the lanes are supposed to go, etc. This is Boston, Massachusetts! This intersection is a nightmare/hellhole and is perfect example of through-the-windshield design. Step one: take attractive bridge, river, and bike/ped path along river and make them all as inaccessible as possible for humans on foot or bike. Check! Step two: let bridge deteriorate. Check! Step three: make absolutely no improvements for cyclists at the Cambridge/Storrow/Charles intersection. Bike lanes end here! Double Check!!

This is the only signage for this interchange. Some problems:
- The sign is hidden behind a tree.
- The sign shows 3 lanes, but there are only 2 lanes where the sign is placed (the 3rd comes later).
- There are no markings on the road indicating which lane goes where.
- The number of arrows have nothing to do with the number of lanes that go in each direction. E.g., there is one arrow pointing across the bridge, but there are 2 lanes that go across the bridge.
- There are no dotted lines on the road to guide drivers.
- Lots and lots more....
