Hi,
I'm writing to follow up on Issue #14771275 (https://seeclickfix.com/issues/14771275) because that issue was closed by the City I'm not sure how to reopen it. I had originally written because street lamp across the street from us shines into our bedroom windows, and the City responded very quickly to send a crew out and look at the problem. According to the transportation department post, they made some repairs, however that did not solve the problem, unfortunately, so I'm hoping there is something more that can be done. We had a similar problem several years ago when we lived on Whitney Ave, and the City installed a metal glare shield on the lamp, which completely solved the problem then. I wonder if we couldn't have a similar shield installed here. (We live across the street from this lamp, so it is the street-facing (east) side of the lamp that we are hoping could be shielded.) Many thanks.

I'm hoping you might be able to provide an update on this request. As anticipated, the problem is a lot worse during the winter with the trees bare - the leaves had provided some shade from this street light. Is there any possibility of dimming it and/or installing a shield to reduce the amount of light shining into our house at night?
Thanks.
