Road still needs repaving. Some potholes have been fixed, however the Charles Street in Mineola is still in need of a facelift.

The Town of North Hempstead has reviewed your complaint and determined that the issue lies outside of our jurisdiction. Service Request # 81332 will be reported again on your behalf to the Village of Mineola. To follow up please contact the Village at 516-746-0750.

The Village of Mineola has advised me that the road resurfacing/reconstruction program is divided into 8 sections and that each year they move through a different section of the village. Our section is not slotted to be resurfaces for another 4 to 5 years! In the meantime they will send someone over to repair some of the issues. So now we add another 4 to 5 years to an already poor situation.
