Ever drive down an avenue in New York City? The traffic lights are timed so that you can drive many blocks before hitting a red light. Ever drive down an avenue, Wisconsin for example, in DC? The traffic lights are timed so that you stop at ever light. Why aren't the traffic lights on the major avenues in DC timed up?
