Why is this closed? The potholes have not been repaired. thank you.

Also the overpass bridge on University Parkway North, towards AppleBee's on the right has many potholes as well. It is not safe.

Would that be ALL of University Parkway, from Northwest Blvd to Rural Hall? It is unfortunate that a more clear, direct, and helpful response was not provided promptly by the City of Winston-Salem when Ms. Nystrom first reported this issue. It makes no sense to set citizens up to get so easily frustrated by the way issues are handled and managed by CityLink and/or City staff.

Thank you Mr. Jones for your support, I really appreciate it. I totally agree. After SEVERAL emails someone finally told me that Winston-Salem does not do the work, but NCDOT. So I wasted a lot of time and frustration, when I could have been directed to DOT the FIRST time they got my email. Most of the pot holes are from Bethabara Park Blvd at University, all the way towards Target. It angers me this road has not been fixed long before now as well as other parts of Winston. Pot holes cause accidents and damages cars. I got major pot holes fixed by this department before at the NorthPoint Blvd Post office where the holes were several feet long and deep. So, I don't understand why now I have to go to NCDOT. I have found as a citizen, you have to be persistent and communicate (yell) a lot, before anything gets accomplished.

I absolutely hear you, Ms. Nystrom. I find it very unfortunate that issue reporting to CityLink gets handled the way it does. Surely this could all be managed much better. I've even met with the Director of CityLink and the Asst. City Manager trying to encourage them to get this house in order, but I'm afraid it hasn't led to much. When it got so frustrating again to me in the last couple of weeks, I finally reported CITYLINK as an issue that needs fixing: http://www.seeclickfix.com/issues/986634. I reported this issue to NCDOT. They did come and make repairs, but they were not done well and missed many smaller pot holes as well.
