Heavy trash never came this week. It’s not illegal dumping if the city doesn’t do their job.

Heavy trash came on Wednesday February 3 at 9 am. They collected at that time. The next pickup is in April for unwanted furniture.

It didn’t come to 1701 Huldy as scheduled. You are mistaken. We had trash out the day before and I had to remove it myself yesterday since the city never came.

The collection was done for 1715 Huldy. A TV and miscellaneous items.

Are you sure? Or did someone just take it as it sat in the ditch in the side of the road? We had items out before and after that no one would have just taken as it was clearly trash.

Yes sure. The residents actually witnessed the pick up. “Junk waste should be placed adjacent to front of curb easily accessible to the collection vehicle between the hours of 6:00 pm the Friday before and 7:00 am on scheduled day”. Junk waste is furniture, appliances, and other bulky material. It is collected February, April, June, August, October and December. Houstontx.gov/solid waste/treewaste.html.

If you have something not collected, you should call the city.

We did on the 4th and on the 5th. They informed us that I could be next week. I then removed it myself as mentioned in the prior comment. The city has been notified. Again ... It’s been missed for most of the year and we’ve had to call and report practically every month.

That is very frustrating! Sorry you have to keep calling them. 🤦‍♀️

Thanks. It’s terrible that they can’t perform the service as reported and scheduled, but what can we do but just keep doing what needs done and move on.
