This is a bit of a ridiculous thing to report, since the City of Houston under Sylvester Turner has been unable to maintain a set schedule for any sort of waste pickup for many months now. As a result, citizens do not have any idea when things should be put out, and indeed, are told schedules that differ from the posted ones when calling for clarification.

Maybe the 311 Protection Patrol along with the poor city staffer who has to investigate this report could all just chill out a little bit, and chalk up the apparent confusion to an administration that is having great difficulty delivering basic public services despite collecting record revenues.

I'd hate to see a citizen get ticketed in such a scenario.
