Funny the way the world works... I got a message today from the SeeClickFix system asking if this issue had been resolved. I posted this 11 months ago. Septa busses still routinely idle at this location despite rules posted on a telephone poll to the contrary. I'd been worn down by the response of Septa drivers when I asked them to comply with the idling rules, but just this morning asked a driver who'd parked his bus why he left it idling while he stood of the sidewalk chatting with another bus driver. I am not talking about a hurried few words between drivers....I observed the bus ilding while they chatted for five minutes before approaching them. The driver who was in his vehicle actually had shut down his bus. I can't close this issue since it has not been fixed. Septa needs to police its own or the police need to start ticketing the drivers and/or Septa. It happened again yesterday, just before noon. K bus sitting there, idling, no driver. Watched him come back, bag in hand, from getting lunch. A few minutes later he drove off. A minute after that another K bus arrived and sat, idling.
