no, rob, you are probably correct, as i posted it after a bike ride and was a little tired! i'll try to adjust it right now. i wish the map showed the main entrance road, because it is just after, right at the sharp curve where there is a tiny semi-circle closed to traffic overlooking the waterfall.

it's especially dangerous for cyclists here because cars fly around this curve, and to have to dodge huge holes in the road at the same time is scary.

though, there are a few sections all along farnam & english drive that have the same issue.

since this is i guess technically in hamden, i wonder if we should contact them, since i'm not sure if hamden town officials are as connected to seeclickfix as new haven?

the folks in hamden say the city of new haven is responsible, as it is technically part of east rock park.

some of the deepest potholes have been filled in, albeit very sloppily, but a huge section of the road remains very dangerous for cyclists, and pedestrians.

as i stated above, this section needs to be resurfaced, not temporarily patched. it will only get worse. and the patch jobs only help protect cars from damage, the road is still incredibly uneven for cyclists.

We are working to improve our use of See Click Fix. Many issues were previously fixed but unclosed. We are closing issues that we believe were fixed prior to 2016. If this issue is closed in error please re-open.

The road has been patched numerous times since 2013 so if there are 2017 potholes please post under a new issue.
