I have reported it twice. I am ready to contact Sacramento and report Vallejo to the State's water waster bureau. This has been leaking for 2+ years and nothing is ever done to fix it.

Do we have to call the news crew before the stuff gets taken care of

WTH are you waiting for Vallejo? Dobyou NOT feel like we are owed an update or explanation as to when this will be addressed? This appears to be pushed to the backburner because ofnthe utility pole.

Update: PG&E will be physically inspecting this for immediate safety concerns, and if any are found action will be taken. If no immediate threat is found, it will then be put into que for recommend action. At least now, PG&E can cobtact the City and get this ship moving. It took me nearly 30 minutes on the phone with PG&E to get this reported properly. If anyone reading this is interested, you can contact PG&E and provide the following case ID # for status #7192509645.

After 30 minutes on the phone with PG&E, they will be sending someone out to check if this is an immediate hazard. If it is not, it will be put into the appropriate que for follow-up with the City, and myself (as a concerned citizen) to find resolution. I'm tired of hearing the excuses by the City and putting this off on PG&E...just coordinate and fix the problem.

So...per the rep. @ PG&E via phone (not qualified to evaluate) "PG&E is not showing record of being notified by the City of the problem". However, per City official via phone today, PG&E IS completely aware of this and has actually been to the site of the leak, but is not responding to the City.

What I know: per the City, the leak begins at B.Williams Drive (there are several steel plates in the area) and is travelling down PG&E conduit to the pole at Broadway/Tuolumne where it is coming to the surface. PG&E needs to de-energize a large portion of the area in order for the City do continue with repairs, but no work order is scheduled.

What now? If I can reach someone with PG&E's Construction & Maintenance Department in Vallejo I will further ask questions on how this can be allowed to proceed, and who should be accountable. We all know that water and electricity do not mix...the City cannot simply dig with energized lines underground, and PG&E cannot de-energize while water is flowing....seriously?

It's now beet well over a month since I first reported this issue. What is the status?

Still waiting for an update...might have to go to Public Works in person and get loud!

Per PG&E, they are willing to de-energize the lines in order for the work to be done, but still the City is not providing updates. I have filed a complaint with the PUC in hopes of this being fixed before the underground infrastructure is compromised. Any homeowner or business owner along the affected route of the water (from B. Williams Drive to the leak) might want to ask the City the condition of the earth under their buildings. Leaking water, as we all have seen on the news can have devastating affects if left unrepaired...and this one has been going on for 18+ months.

We are finally getting results from PG&E. The Senior Service Represenative called me today and we will be out there soon.

The wastewater has been fixed i repeat the wasteful water has been fixed on 1900 Broadway ,apparently the leak was about 2 to 3 blocks north of the leak
