Description
The configuration of the bicycle lane in combination with the parking lot on the SW corner of Webster/20th present a hazard for cyclists. As a cyclist, I have been nearly hit by cars turning right into the parking lot multiple times, and have also witnessed other cyclists in hazardous situations. Drivers also tend to use the right turn pocket on the N side of the intersection as a through lane before turning in to the same parking lot, confusing cyclists who are trying to use the bike lane as a through lane. Recommend striping/painting of the bicycle lane to alert drivers that they are crossing through the bicycle lane to enter the parking lot, along with possible signage.

Better yet, how about just closing the parking lot curb cut on Webster St. The lot already has a nice, wide curb cut off of 20th which can accomodate cars both entering and leaving the lot.
The lot managers might be into that idea anyway, as closing the curb cut would create a couple additional parking spaces for them.
