Deskripsyon

Construction fence is block side walk and there is no sidewalk on the other side of the street. Pedestrians are risking their lives by walking on the road. Need alternate pedestrian route.

Thanks for your report to Richmond Government online. We apologize for the inconvenience. While the sidewalk is closed pedestrians can go through the alley. There is open alley access that bypass this construction area or pedestrians can walk across the other side of the street. There is NO SIDEWALK on the other side of the street, did you not read the entire post? Telling people to cross the street to where there is no sidewalk is not a good idea, and telling them to walk in the alley is also not a viable idea. Please provide an alternate suggestion (a sign telling pedestrians to use the alley maybe? And to do so at their own peril?)
