Only one of the pedestrian lights, the one in front of the Sheraton Commander, is not working. The light on the corner of Waterhouse and Garden is fine.

Confirmed this morning this is still an issue. It seems like the button on the NE side of the road does not activate the lights.

A previous answer (from Engineering?) has been that the solar panel needs replacing and that process takes months. But, in fact, the solar powered lights are working. The lights are activated only when the button on the west side of Garden St is pushed. When it is pushed, solar powered lights on both sides of the street are activated. It would certainly seem the problem is with the push button on the east side is not working. It is difficult to believe fixing the button would take more than three months. Could someone from Engineering take a look? This is a dangerous crossing that affects many pedestrians dally, including numbers of elderly and disabled pedestrians. Please take a look and assign to someone who can fix buttons.
