Beware, the CT DOT has plans to close exit 44 (Kimberley Ave. exit) and direct all of that traffic onto the Boulevard, exit 45, which will mean a ton of extra traffic on Sea St. and Howard Ave. That unnecessarily huge Howard Ave bridge, which the CT DOT built over I95, can easily accommodate trucks and tons of cars. CT DOT - ruining Connecticut for the past 50 years...

This needs to stay open as it is still an issue. Just because the city has ignored something for 10+ years doesn't mean it isn't a problem!!!

Why isn't the no thru traffic sign being enforced?

Purchase the one or two houses necessary to extend 5th St to the Boulevard. This would be one of the rare good uses os eminent domain.

When something is taken from another against their will Frank, it is stealing! How would you feel if your HOME was taken away from you? These home owners are human beings with civil rights. Anyone with this mind-set is little more than a communist!

We are reviewing older issues in the "other" category to better route to the correct city personnel.

Has the new traffic circle helped?

If not I will direct this to Traffic Enforcement/Roadway safety. There is a working group of Traffic and Parking and the Traffic Division of PD that meets frequently to review crash data and citizen complaints.

The traffic circle has helped reduce traffic but vehicle size limits have not changed. Large and over height truck trailers continue to come thru Howard onto Sea St simply driving over circle boundaries when needed and most recently hit a tree breaking off large limbs and leaving the remaining tree's integrity in question.

I will send an inspector out to evaluate the tree. Please let me know which side it is on to help facilitate locating in the field. I have also sent an email to the DOTs consultant supervising engineer who I had corresponded with on the planting plan for the center median to see when that component will be completed as that additional step should also help to modify behaviors.

Tree is located at the corner of howard ave on sea st, going towards i95. Cant miss it.
