I live on 77th and 106 street and we have a big issue with ice and snow build up at the entrance of our street because of to many vehicles parked on the road therefore snow not being removed on first clean off. It is down to single lane and tight at that, really need something done with this mess! Is there a bylaw with regards to how many vehicles per residence? To many on street to get by and never cleared of snow!!! Help!

I have informed Transportation of the narrowing on this street. We do not have bylaws restricting the number of vehicles registered to any address or person. Due to the fact that snow removal is supposed to be the day before garbage day, (which is this Friday); I concur with the previous entries. It is disgusting the way up to ten vehicles can surround a house, even making it unable to get to the mailbox on 106 st. I have called the By Law dept on 3 separate occasions, and only one vehicle was ever dealt with. This steady stream and permanent vehicles absolutely take up more than a lane, making the street a two way street a thing of the past. This needs to be dealt with, and checked on regularly. Because of one house, the entire neighbourhood is not getting plowed. !!! The house in question is: 10631-76 Ave.

I have, as stated above given enforcement services a call on a number of occasions. Is this not the correct way to go about it, if you are ignored by the phone call? Like I said, this is an on going issue, and needs to be watched DAILY...

I am sure half the time we do not get mail is because there is no place for mail truck to park to deliver mail. Its THAT bad!

Please contact Enforcement Services to express your concerns and to have an officer look into the issue. We do not have any bylaws that restrict people from parking on the street except for those parked over 72 consecutive hours or otherwise parked illegally.
