Tommy, thanks but I tried that and that option required me to select from a mandatory list of subcategories that were unrelated. I couldn't find a way to opt out of that option which is why I went here. I thought it was "business" - not bus.

I'll try another catagory.

There does not seem to be a specific category that fits different circumstances. There should be either a "general" category that goes to a specific clearing house to be forwarded or add and clarify the categories you have. I went to what should have been a "business" site only to be referred to at "bus" site.

Unfortunately, many cities have done away with their SeeClickFix "General" category.

There are a few reasons, but the main reason has to do with keeping accurate records, measuring the metrics, and ensuring issues are assigned to the correct work groups.

There are too many residents in every city who fail to look for the correct category and rather, choose "General" for every issue reported. This makes it difficult to keep track of patterns and identify what local governments really need to improve.

Personally, I believe it would be beneficial to add way more categories so that virtually every reported issue could be reported using a category that actually applies.
