I live near this area, so I understand the frustation. There is also a 25 mph stretch in that area. Raising the speed limit is not a good recommendation. This is a small two lane road with residences. The speed limits of 25 and 35 are appropriate. The road is convenient to use as a short-cut instread of using M-59, or is good to get to the stores at Schoenherr and Canal, but people need to drive the speed limit. This is not a long stretch, so speeding is only saving seconds. Drivers just need to chill out, suck it up, and go the speed limit for this short stretch.
