Q. Please describe in detail the issue.
A. public works dug holes in 5 places in the 1400 block of Harold. 4 of them are covered with standard, heavy gauge sheet metal. the one in front of my home is covered with a thin piece of metal that rocks every time a car passes over it. we cannot sleep or even concentrate with the constant, constant racket. replace this with the regular standard ASAP so we can get some sleep. this is inexcusable.

To day, we still are rattled and jarred every few minutes by passing cars over this loose, substandard cover. It has been impossible to sleep through the night - to the extent that last week I procured two orange cones and placed them on top of the piece of metal. This would have been the least that a concerned city or a responsible contractor could have done, no? Or a striped sawhorse?
