Description

We are scheduled for street sweeping the first Monday and Tuesday of the month. The crew came by yesterday and did the even number side. This debris field from Ida (shown here) is on the odd number side. You never came back today to clean this up. It is going to rain heavily tonight. Why were you not here and why were you not prepared for Ida? I will be out there again cleaning catch basins at 1 - 2 AM. This is unacceptable.

We received your issue and will address it as soon as we can. With the first Monday of the month being Labor Day a holiday, we weren't scheduled to sweep either in Route 11(Westville) or in Route 1(Amity/ West Rock). We have a schedule we need to follow in order to sweep all 14 routes in the city. If we are able to follow up and pick up leaves tomorrow we will. Thanks for reporting

This is a lame comment since you had NO street sweeping scheduled for Wednesday anywhere - see your published schedule! The fact that you schedule our sweeping for the same day as the trash pickup is just confirmation that your scheduling algorithm needs updating or scraping.

We are closing older Street Sweeping issues from 2021 in order to focus on our upcoming street sweeping season 2022. Many of the older issues were addressed through our regularly scheduled street sweeping but never closed.
