Thanks for your report. We have recategorized for our normal work flow and assigned to Engineering to address through our cleaning contract.

Please advise the assignee that this catch basin was skipped / missed last time the contractor came through this area.

I've contacted public works and was directed to engineering. Left 2 messages there with no reply. I finally swept and shoveled up the mess in front of my house since we are expecting 2 - 3 days of rain. This should not be my obligation. Also - while cleaning up the leaves and dirt I noticed further erosion of the street adjacent to the catch basin in front of 345 Stevenson. This was previously reported and has now gotten worse.

Its a shame that the city rep was able to identify that this report is a duplicate to a previous report that too has not been resolved although the "CITY" has acknowledge the need for repairs more than once on the same issue. Perhaps the homeowners of new haven need to stand together and withhold paying our property taxes until the services such taxes are supposed to pay for are in fact completed. Just like tenants withhold rent from landlords.

Engineering has been out but the contractor they use to unclog storm sewers hasn't gotten here yet. Last storm had the same effect - basins above 295 worked, including the catch basin by the golf course swale. The catch basins at 295 were backed up and overflowing.

The lines were clean and it seems to be working much better now
