We called the police for over 3 hours to have someone come out and have this car ticketed. It is not fair to discriminate. We have been ticketed for barely being past this very same white line and today it is just fine for this car to be illegally parked all day. The police think we should have a supervisor come out to our door so that the neighbors can think we are causing an issue. The city can kindly pay back the money they charged us for doing the same thing, since it's fine for others to do it. There is a block party on the other block, but we had the same situation. It was a block party and first thing in the morning and we got a ticket that we even tried to beat but were forced to pay. A supervisor even came out to our house, signed the ticket for us stating to waive the ticket and when we went to fight it , they still found us guilty. Doesn't make sense. District claims there are so many shootings and stabbings this complaint really has no priority. They just don't care. When they realize that most of the shootings and stabbings start from incidences like this that they could eliminate maybe something will be done - oh that's right, they already know that and just don't care.
