    dog waste station removed. although people sometimes littered around it, I think the solution would be to check on it more regularly not to remove it completely. I would imagine this will cause a significant uptick of dog waste and loose dog bags in the area

    It would be great to have consistent enforcement of the leash law in the cemetery. While 99.9 percent of people follow the law, there are a few individuals who allow their large/ energetic dogs to run wild over paths, graves, plantings, etc; I've seen these dogs pooping on graves and not responding to their owner's calls. One owner became verbally abusive when I asked him to follow the law and leash his dog. The cemetery is a major hotspot for migratory birds and a valuable nesting site for local birds. Our residents, including children and older people, walk its paths. Many have ancestors who are buried there. Dogs should be leashed out of consideration for the living and the dead. There is plenty of room for them to run free at the dog park less than a block away, in Glenlake Park. Thank you. s
