Cabramatta Creek Trail Cabramatta, New South Wales - Liverpool - EastSurface on this section of the bike path is disgraceful. Pot holes are 20 inches across and 10 inches deep. To compound this, the lighting hasn't been maintained and almost none of the lights are operational.
Riding on this section at night or after rain is seriously dangerous. A real shame that one of the major bike paths of Sydney has been let go to this point. This is the section that Liverpool council is responsible for as far as I know. -

Lot 7020 Old Windsor Road Toongabbie NSW 2146, Australia - Parramatta - North-West
The SUP runs parallel to Old Windsor Road either side of Toonbabbie Creek without any verge or barrier to separate bicycles and traffic, except for a strong steel railing on the road bridge proper. The SUP exiting the road bridge to the west has a steel plate on one side that is slippery when wet. The SUP exit from the bridge is over a poorly instaled bitumen patch. This location was subject of an initially unguarded sinkhole during construction and the patch has been repatched, so that the finsih is very rough. The risk of an accident / incident is high. The consequencs could be severe if a cyclist ended up on the road which has a high traffic density in the morning peak hour and is zoned 80 k/h. A physical barrier (steel fence) shoudl be installed along the SUP either side of the riad brodge where there is no separation from Old Windosr Road. This risk has been recognised and managed with a fence about 100 m further west where a new SUP was recentlyu installed perpendicular to the existing SUP and OWR. The fence shoud be of equivalent standard to the one on the existing road bridge due to the potential for impact by vehicles as happend at the next bridge west last year. The steel plate shoud be coated with a non slippery finish. The contractor responsibe for the bitumen patch should be required to install a new flat and flush patch. Not sure if this is a Council or RTA issue.
