Fairmont Park which has a baseball league starting on May 11, has not had any cleanup or maintenance. Our children us a porty potty, and feet away are at least 2 dead animal decomposed carcasses
The league is concerned about the city not responding to requests to have a spring cleanup. Can we get some help from the city, to insure our children's safety, and keep this park properly maintained ASAP?

A Speed hump was installed months ago on First Ave. leading to Clifton St.. There is a nursing home at the end of first ave on clifton called Regal Care. A Relative was in an ambulance one night and the driver hit the speed hump and everyone flew through the air causing more pain to a person already in a fragile condition.
Possibly... painting the hump with stripes would make it more visible in general and/or adding a solar panel illuminated sign ..to remind and warn people of the hump for everyone's safety.

Not sure this is the correct place for this, but can I request a “do not block driveway” sign (or am I allowed to buy one off the internet and install it myself)? Having a problem with parked cars—not completely blocking, but making it dicey to exit/enter and often requiring me to drive over the curb. Thanks.

Last night at around 2:44 am, a car struck and sheared off the signage pole in front of my house and the St. James Church on East Grand Avenue. The front bumper of the car was completely torn off and left in the road. The car did not remain there and left. The car is a gray Volkswagon and the license plate, CT AL12214, is still on the bumper. I have gathered the pieces together on the sidewalk to be picked up. There is a very jagged piece of the pole sticking out of the sidewalk, which could be a hazard for someone walking by.
I was not sure if this was a police or a city issue.

The corner at Quinnipiac and Hemingway has been painted and posts installed and Hemingway is now only 1.5 lanes wide at this corner. If a car is exiting Hemingway and is not pulled over tight to the right curb, a van or emergency vehicle does not have room to make a right hand turn from Quinnipiac. Has the painting and post installation been authorized by the Traffic Division?

In December we had someone from the parks dept come out and cut trees and there is one large branch that has branches falling on top of cars . I’m not worried at all about our cars as I am about the kids playing outside and having one fall and seriously injure them . Please have someone come out swim as I am concerned about not only my children but also the neighbors children. 79 Highview Lane New Haven

The drain cover by the curb is missing. This can be very dangerous if a car or bike drives over it or if someone is walking and does not notice it. It is on the odd side of the street.

On either side of the bridge next to the Trelleborg Coated Systems US, Inc., located in New Haven (Lenox St.), a large amount of trash has accumulated and occasionally tents have gone up. Smoke has been observed from these areas as small fires (for cooking?) are occasionally set. I have been in contact with the NH police & several city departments for over a year but nothing has been taken care of - trash continues to accumulate and tents are still occasionally seen.

This car with plate 344 Z0Z Connecticut, has been abandoned at the door of a house and prevents children from crossing the street to take the bus, prevents the normal circulation of pedestrians, prevents street cleaning.
