I have noticed that the tenants or owners of 24717 Fairview Avenue in unincorporated Hayward (Fairview) has recently covered more than 50% of the front yard with a combination of asphalt and compacted gravel to park construction equipment (gutter machines), a trailer and several vehicles on. There are many buildings constructed in the front yard and along the side yard. There is a carport (blue tarp) that is used to park vehicles under in the front yard. The fence in the front yard and along the setbacks are over the 4 foot height limit. It also appears an overhang was constructed near the rear yard that is over 15 feet tall where another large blue tarp is covering materials that can be seen from Fairview Avenue. This property has had no permits pulled over the years (verified through online permit portal).

This abandoned home has a plywood sign left behind in the front yard along side yard clippings. The front door was never installed and instead is secured with rotting plywood. This property is affecting property values in the area.

This property is notorious for vehicles parked all over the front yard with garbage piled along the side of the home (old paint debris) and piled high in the back of an old pickup truck. This property is riddled with zoning problems that are affecting property values in the area. There are unpermitted buildings (confirmed with County) in the front and side yard setbacks. I have noticed that the tenants or owners of 24787 Fairview Avenue in unincorporated Hayward (Fairview) has recently brought in pavement and made a large driveway down towards a barn when no valid building permit exists (verified through permit portal). The fence along the front/side yard of this property are over the 4 feet limit. There has been what looks like paint cans or other hazardous materials left in the front/side yard, along with unused cyclone fencing rolls and a growing firewood pile. A portable restroom has been left out in a field. A large metal moved-on storage container can be found in the back yard of the home. The garage on this property is in really bad shape and falling apart: windows are boarded up, the roof is falling in and the building looks dangerously unsecured. There is a large pile of concrete forms and other construction debris piled high behind this garage and left behind after a barn build that received a final months ago according to the permit portal.

This hiking trail off Hansen Road (behind East Avenue Elementary) is a notorious spot for trash to be dumped. There is an old mattress and other trash dumped on this trail approximately 20' from the main road.
