Notified About

  • 2113 N Kansas St El Paso, TX 79902, USA - Rim Area
There is no sidewalk on Kansas on the Univeristy Area. There is a lot of pedestrian traffic - mainly high school runner, and UTEP students. These student are forced to the streets in oncoming traffic. I would hate to see some innocent student get hit by a vehicle and the city would be at fauly. Please Advise the situation.

planning suggestions for the old ASARCO would be to make the property a Solar field to generate electricity for the city.
  • J E B Stuart Rd Fort Bliss, TX - Fort Bliss
Grass has been ripped off the graves of fallen soldiers at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery and replaced with xeriscape, which is basically dirt and gravel. This was allegedly done in an effort to conserve water. Meanwhile, the military golf course (with a second one on the way for officers only) and parade grounds are lush with greenery. Without the grass, the bereaved/loved ones are finding their visits dependent on the weather: windy? Look out for flying dirt! Rain? Graves are now sitting in an oversized mud-pit. Forget about kneeling to pray, unless you don't mind gravel and dirt on your knees. Many wheelchair-bound visitors struggle to maneuver on gravel. Attached you will find a picture of what happened to the graves after being hit with torrential rain. Please note that many more are easily accessible via Google. Numerous pleas & petitions to re-grass the cemetery have fallen on deaf ears. This is 100% disrespectful to those who unselfishly and willingly gave their lives for our country. To be clear, these service men and women DESERVE better!
  • E P N G Pipeline Rd El Paso, TX 79911, USA - Northwest

This land is vital to the wildlife that thrive in the mountains. It is also a great place to be able to get away from it all without having to travel.

As it stands right now, there are plans in place for the city of El Paso to sell this land to developers so they can make a buck.

Stop expanding and fix the stuff you have already in place. Downtown has so much potential, stop tearing up our outdoor activities!!

864 Melrose Ct El Paso, TX 79932, USA - Northwest

Create a park on both sides of the river that connects to neighborhoods every so many feet with frequent pedestrian bridge crossings. Have new homes face the river so it is not a private/exclusive amenity but available to all.

Increase the number of trees in the park and think about the possibility of a frisbee golf course.
