Why is this allowed to go on for years? Building materials in yard, dumpster, u haul truck, he puts stuff in the dumpster then comes out and takes it back out in the night and early morning. He throws things out of the windows and then takes them back in. It’s getting worse and worse and is unacceptable that is allowed to continue.

There was almost a near tragedy tonight (4/21/2022 @ approx 7:45 pm) on our walk. My 4 year old daughter moved a flimsy piece of plywood on the grass parking area and fell down a hole with roots and water that was about 5-7 feet deep right by the road. This happened in a matter of seconds and luckily my husband was right there and was able to lay down on the ground and reach down the hole and was barely able to grab her and get her out. We were all terrified and both my girls are absolutely scared to death. Thank God both her parents were right there to witness it and save her. If it was a few more inches deeper or there was any more water in the bottom, I’m not sure she would have survived. Thank God she escaped with a few minor cuts and scrapes. Please take care of this so it doesn’t happen to another curious kid. Even as parents, we never thought a hole that deep would only be covered by just a piece of plywood. It was not secured or marked at all. We were RIGHT there and she picked up that plywood like it was nothing and went right down. The more I type, the more furious I get. I almost lost my baby! I’m scared both my girls will have nightmares about this. I have more pictures if needed. Please contact me so I can assure someone read this complaint, investigates and fixes this problem.

My name is John Otte. I live at 7812 Prairie ave. I am across the street from where the creek from lakeview pond goes into the culvert. I am the guy most likely to get flooded if we have a repeat of the June 30, 2018 rain event. Some of the neighbors got together to extract fallen branches and vines from the creek. We filled out brown bins. We have much left over. Most of the material came from the property at 7809. The lady who lives there is a disabled single mother with two children. She was un able to help with the clean up. How do we dispose of the plant materials that we extracted from the creek? Thx

This house always has junk in the driveway and yard. It us a huge eye sore. They have a cut up tree sitting in the driveway that has been there for months. This is a wonderful neighborhood except for this one house.

Homeowner has removed the glass from 2nd story window & is now using the pictured ladder for entering & exiting his house.
Yard is still a mess. He clearly has mental health issues and this is an ongoing eye sore for our neighborhood.

Are we going on 2 months we’ve been asking the city to take action?
Still looks awful. Never gets properly cleaned up.
What is the timeline on this issue? How long will the city continue acknowledge these issues but take no action?

We had a neighborhood effort this am to clean up branches and vines from adjacent creek to this property. This action keeps the ditch clean in the event of flooding. The resident in the rental is a single parent with a disability and two children. If there is a charge to remove the debris north of the corner of 79th and Prairie, let us know. Could we get it picked up?

The weed lot at 16211 Goldenrod Drive needs mowed again. Also, the rusty trailer has been there for a month as well as the construction debris from the house across the street. What needs to be done to get this company to maintain the integrity of the neighborhood and clean up their junk? Getting really tired of it!!!!
