Abandoned house that was purchased by Farnam Reality Group more than 2 years ago. After they started renovations 2 years ago and then abruptly stopped, the house has been deteriorating quickly and in worse condition than ever. There are doors and windows that are left wide open. There are families of raccoons and other rodents living inside and a huge sore eye for the neighborhood. The roof is starting to slack and it is becoming a hazard for everyone around.
Livable City Initiative, what are you doing to address this? The neighbors have called multiple times over the years. Previously, it was foreclosed and owned by a national bank. Now it is owned by a local company, Farnam Reality Group. Get them to fix it or sell it to someone who will. In the meantime, the property needs to be secured and any structural issues need to be resolved so it does not become a danger to everyone else in the neighborhood.
We as individual owners get notices and fines from LCI for blight violations. Why is a company like Farnam Reality Group getting a free pass to trash our neighborhood?

Parking Violation/Abandoned Auto Archived9 Tower Pkwy New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - DixwellConstruction crew utilizing parking on Tower Parkway is blocking 50% of the right lane with roofing materials and a cone in the middle of the lane. This is coming around a turn where people drive fast and forces the driver to leave the lane or stop suddenly in order to avoid the material. I doubt it makes it through the night without being hit.

Environmental Health Concerns Acknowledged201 Winchester Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Dixwell
I've lived next to this hazardous building for over two years now. The property owner, Kenny Hill, has owned is for over ten years with no sign of improvement.
The foundation of the entire building is crumbling and there are large stacked tubs on a mere wooden scaffolding (which may have rotted or lost integrity over the past decade). Animals make their home in the building too, likely further weakening its structure. I heard a loud noise come from it this past week that sounded like something inside broke/fell.Supposedly this building is in foreclosure, but it needs to be demolished/repaired ASAP before it causes harm and damage to neighbors and those passing by.

Traffic Signal / Pedestrian Signal ArchivedSachem St & Winchester Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - DixwellBrocken walk signal. You cannot push the button and no lights are working. It’s a dangerous cross walk to begin with and now that it isn’t working it’s worse.
