    This part of New Road is really awful. It appears to be due to a lack of drainage: just a few blocks down, there is adequate drainage, and the pavement is beautiful.

    Lack of signage, & traffic simply is moving far too fast off Whitney onto Ives. Very dangerous for cyclists.

    This area of pavement is fairly bad. (I may be off slightly in the placement of this)

    Hamden is repairing the pavement south of here, but this area, on a nice descent, is still very rough.

    Approaching this intersection on a bicycle, despite the light being green, it may change while you ride through, with you never seeing the yellow.

    Cars to the left & the right on Hartford Turnpike have poor visibility of the traffic coming from Ridge, and may not see you, resulting in an accident in which the cyclist will be at fault, despite their having crossed on green.

    Earlier SeeClickFix posts have spoken to the high speeds & lack of a crosswalk. Another issue which may have an easy solution is the complete lack of visibility here. I think this may need a bump out or other method to ensure that vehicles stopping at the end of Nicoll can see & be seen. I witnessed two (2) near misses here in 15 minutes.

    wrong way down the one way--driving about 30 mph while ascending (could not maintain own lane & I almost went off road to not be hit)

    Driving above speed limit & wrong way on a one way. Very frustrating behavior.

    House on corner has a water sprayer thing that is just soaking the sidewalk. Obnoxious. Literally is not moving back and forth & just soaking sidewalk, street, and random cars. Waste of water & nuisance to public right of way.

    It's always mildly annoyed me: the way the cars block line of sight into the parking lot at Nicca's/onto Bishop street here (Esp. the loading trucks for Nicca's. They have loading spots in their parking lot.)

    However, when a local officer almost took me out with her car door here yesterday, I decided I was officially fed up. Come on people. Always look before you open your door, and if you are going to park in a bike lane, look twice. If you're going to park in front of a busy parking lot--well, don't. and if you need to make a delivery to a place which has a parking lot, try using the parking lot, instead of parking your big truck directly in front of the parking lot so those of us coming by on bikes can get hit.

    There is a tree branch here, broken, hanging from another branch, pointing down towards the street. It looks like it could fall at anytime. Just off the sidewalk, over the shoulder/parking lane.
