Can somebody review this intersection?? 3 out of 5 times driving by almost got hit by drivers that don't stop at the stop sign on Russell street for cars traveling on Clifton avenue or they think that is a four way stop corner. I'll be okay if this was a four way stop corner.

I witness a drug transaction outside the Dunkin Donuts this morning at 8:20am, as a proud Fair Haven resident made feel very angry and frustrated with the system. In the meantime the alderman are talking about traffic calming... and not about the drug transaction and prostitute problem that Fair Haven have. Now days you can find a prostitutes at any time of the day on ferry and chapel... very sad for our kids to witness this scenarios.

Does anybody knows where in Front Street a home was break-in/burglarized?? as mention in the NHI.

My van four tires got slashed today between 12 and 1pm while I was in the library across the New Haven green. The van was parked across the street from the library on the green side. Already got new ones but just posting about my frustration. Why somebody did it??? Not clue. Be careful.

Confusion between the traffic signal showing both lanes for traffic to go straight and the sign painted on the street shows only one lane to go straight, so when people follows the traffic signal on the pole finds drivers upset because they followed the sign/arrows on the street and now can't switch lanes because after the traffic light that lane is for cars to turn and they have to wait. Both signs should be for traffic going straight since it changes right after the traffic light. Why change something that was working okay, at least we had the option to use both lanes and then change at our own risk, but know we'll have two drivers right in case of an accident. I use this intersection every morning going to Church Street South.

HUGE pot hole in the corner of Lombard and Blatchley for weeks is getting bigger and bigger; about 11 inches round.

Mattress dumped on curbside in front of 10 Eastern Street, dangerous for cars usually speeding down the curb.

Trimming overgrown weeds/grass on Clifton Street over the railroad bypass on the side without the sidewalk., poor visibility over the curve. Thanks

Overgrown grass on the outside side of the Golf Course fence on the Eastern street side before the East Haven limit. It looked that they cleaned but not all the way down the road.
Please remember that New haven goes to after 8 Eastern street.

I saw a medium size coyote in the Golf court around 11 pm on Monday night close to the entrace on Clifton/Eastern street and last night around 8pm walking on the sidewalk on the other side of the golf court on Eastern street. court. The coyote walked on front of my car park on my driveway and walked up to the door steps of the house next door.

Noticied that the street lamps on Eastern street, were changed to the new led lights, but the very first street lamp in Eastern street was not changed over to led, all others after 16 Eastern were. The lamp is right across between 8 and 10 Eastern Street on the curve, on the golf course side. Not a big deal but that end of the street is dark and the new lighing made a big difference. Thank you!!

The red light for East Grand Avenue on the intersection with Quinnipiac is way too long, sometimes will go for more than 5 minutes if cars don't start moving front and back or turning on red.. not safe!!

Street light out more than 4 months; per UI New Haven City is responsible for repairs.

(Tuesday Posting)East Rock magnet school temporary building was not shoveled, I know that the building is not own by New Haven but somebody should be responsible for checking the schools sites. The sidewalks around the building were not shoveled, the parking lot either and the driveways are very narrow, making it very difficult for parents and the school bus dropping kids. The handicapped busses had a very hard time lowering the ramps because of how narrow the driveway was. Luckily the Charter school that shares the building is out this week.

I witnessed three raccoons fighting on Lewis street accross from the playpark on the corner of Lewis and Front street around 7:30pm on Sunday; the raccoons (5) are out of control. They usually cross lewis street, to the park from 2 Lewis street, into front street to the appartment complex across the street looking for food on the dumspters. This is very dangerous for kids still at the park around 7pm or later.
A new family of racoons moved to the roof of 238 Front street, you can see the hole from the street; making it more dangerous for residents waking, jogging, etc...on Front/Lewis street. The owners do know about the problem with the raccoons and nothing has been done. Who should take care of this??? Can the city do something since, people jog, play across the street, walk by/this houses all day long.

The floor around the pool is filthy and the bathrooms/lockers have a very bad smell, there is a puddle of water on all the bathroom/locker rooms. If it wasn't because my kids like the pool so much I wouldn't bother, but the sad part is that school kids use this facility during the day with out any supervision. Is not a this week thing is being like that since we started going a couple of months ago.

Please Please clean and sand the sidewalks outside Clinton Avenue School, I watched more than six kids fall on the frozen sidewalks, 4/5 year old kids walking to the busses all by themself.
