    I think there is a ordinance (?) or some law on the books that states noisy lawn machines (lawn mowers, leaf blowers, edge trimmers, etc.) cannot be used before a certain time in the morning and after a certain time in the evening. One of my neighbors was out at 730 this morning mowing his lawn. What are the times, and who do I call when this happens?

    There is a tree in front of my house, on the strip of grass between the sidewalk & the road. Is it my responsibility or the responsibility of the city to take care of this tree? I could not find that answer on the parks,rec & trees website. On that website, it said to report issue thru See, Click, Fix, so that is what I'm doing! The tree is small and mostly dead.

    Again & again & again, cars are illegally parked in the morning in the right hand lane of Trumbull Street. Signs say no parking between 7 - 9 am, but obviously nobody reads them! There were 3 cars parked this morning, narrowing traffic heading into downtown into one lane, which backs up cars all the way onto the highway off ramp. Help please!

    I was walking down Main St this morning (toward East Haven) and couldn't help but notice the mess of trash/litter/whatever going from Huntington and Main (where the traffic light is) down to at least Annex Used Cars. What a mess! Disgusting; it is on both sides of the sidewalk.

    Once again, cars parking in the morning (before 9 am) on Trumbull between Orange and Whitney; the other morning there were 3. Please send a meter person by frequently if possible. The cars block an entire lane and traffic backs up unnecessarily!

    Earlier today/late this morning I paid someone to shovel my steps, driveway and make sure I could get my car out (tomorrow). Then the plow comes along and pushes a pile of snow onto the end of my driveway, so now I can't get my car out. I am glad the plow plowed the street, but I can't shovel the snow that is there and can't get in contact with my shoveling guy.
  • Trumbull St Between Whitney & Orange St New Haven, Connecticut - Downtown
    It would be wonderful if the Traffic &/or Parking division of NHPD could frequently have a meter person in this area between 745 & 9 pm. Traffic moves much more smoothly (from Orange to Whitney) if the 2 lanes of Trumbull St are open, but frequently a car illegally parks on Trumbull and narrows traffic down to one lane and backs everything up! Putting a ticket on the car and possibly towing them would clear things up!
