Very large tree fallen across English Drive fire access road, right near the Giant Steps going up to the Summit of East Rock. This picture shows the east side of the fallen tree. It pretty much blocks this road.

On the Red Trail in East Rock hill facing east, there is a very large dead tree which has completely cracked apart at its base, and is caught at the top by another tree. It is a heavy and dangerous tree which needs to be cut down for safety reasons. It is not a question of if, but when, this tree will collapse.

This morning on a bike ride headed east on English Drive I spotted about a dozen sections of stockade fence tossed over the bank, from the street, towards the Mill River trail. There are two piles. The first stack is near the historic stone spring wall.
