Hello! A few months ago, someone in the Street / Tree dept came to inspect our problem; he told us the City will take down the Big Old tree in our front yard, by Curb, as carpenter ants have visibly demolished the iwood mass, with growing piles of sawdust now by the roots. It's the ONLY Big Trere by our curb. Overhead wires are also by its branches. The tree is much weakened. If it comes down in a storm, our house will be trashed. They told us that the Work-List for tree removal is long; we understand the overload. I beg the tree will be taken out soon /// the stump removal can wait until Spring or Summer -- I only worry Now about the tall tree itself. PLEASE don't ignore this request. I'm worried about our house -- and our safety. We have loved the tree for years, but ... Thank you so much.
