  • Corner Of York St And Mlk Jr. Blvd new haven, connecticut - Dwight
    There is significant uneven areas of sidewalk pavers on the City owned portion of the sidewalk at the NE corner of York and MLK Jr. Blvd. This condition creates multiple tripping hazards due to the undulating surface and at least one missing paver. There are also areas where the pavers meet the precast concrete handicapped ramp resulting in a lip of at least a 1/2" that is also hazardous to pedestrians walking in this heavily traveled area.

    There are two storm drains on MLK Jr. Blvd near alley between 300 and 340 George. Both drains are clogged and when it rains the water ponds in this area creating a hazard to motorists on MLK Blvd.

    Drywall material is falling from ceiling in rt 34 westbound tunnel beneath College St. above both traffic lanes creating a driving hazard in the roadway below.

    Large icicles hanging down into rt 34 tunnel before state road on both inbound and outbound lanes due to water leaking through ceiling. Backer rod also coming out from between joints in concrete directly below College St bridge.

    Unsafe conditions due to ice forming on roadway below. Salt/sand needed to prevent cars from slipping
