  • 1255 Ella T Grasso Boulevard New Haven, Connecticut - West River
Northbound on Ella T Grasso Blvd between Derby Ave and Chapel Street has confusing street markings. It narrows from two lanes to 1.5 lanes, and cars are constantly jockeying for position and passing in the parking lane. It is made worse because there is no left-turn signal for cars traveling on Ella T. Grasso, so drivers don't want to wait behind cars making a left. Stand there at rush hour and watch cars fight and pass each other, because some think it is one lane and some think it is two lanes. Needs remarking.

The grounds around this house are becoming so unkempt as to become a blight on the neighborhood, and the sidewalk (on the Edgewood side) is so covered with plants, tree branches, and now trash, that you literally cannot see any pavement any longer. The lack of attention has become a safety hazard. The owners need to cut back the very overgrown plants and clear the sidewalks.
