yet another branch as fallen from this dying tree. This time it nearly cost the neighbor their internet, as the fire co was about to cut the line instead of putting it back up easily to the house. fortunately I stopped them. This tree is at risk of losing many more branches this winter. the tree needs to be removed. This is a risk of property damage to cars parked on the street, phone/power/internet lines, to people on the sidewalk walking. Clearly New Haven is okay with this significant and imminent risk. AS stated before, a licensed arborist said the tree needed to go. Corner of Chapel & Alston. 1st tree along the sidewalk between 2115 Chapel and next house on Alston. Tree is already marked for removal. Countless people walk this sidewalk daily. I stopped having my son walk under it for fear of being crushed by a branch. Hopkins kids and neighbors park under it, despite me continually trying to leave the large dead and diseased branch in the way, to prevent damage. Do something about this tree before someone gets seriously hurt.

(1st tree on Alston side, coming from Chapel street) tree already marked for removal. large branches falling recently. was moved off the sidewalk. too many people walk on this street to have a branch killer still standing. It's been marked for removal for over a year. city did trim some branches, when removing tree at next house on Alston, but still a significant issue. imminent danger to everyone walking, including all the children on the street and this address.

There is a tree on Chapel street at this address that was marked for removal that wasn't removed yet. The next tree down on Alston, is currently marked for removal.
There are multiple dead branches above the sidewalk on Alston.

More branches are falling from this rapidly declining tree. pedestrians and cars are at risk.

it's nice to see the yard waste not thrown in with the trash this week, but they were left behind entirely.

licensed arborist came last week to price some other work on our property . He says the tree is an imminent danger. It does not appear any branches were trimmed earlier this year by the street team, but the tree is failing. There are dead branches over the sidewalk.
This is a very busy sidewalk for pedestrian traffic and non-resident parking
