This is just a heads up for anyone in the neighborhood with fur babies. Here is my story. Please take heed and don't let this happen to you.
Last weekend my Papillon Gizmo got really sick. I thought it was because someone fed him chili. After 2 full days of him barfing, we thought we were out of the woods. Not the case, it was still happening on the third. I brought him to the vet on the 3rd day. At first the vet thought he found anti freeze. He was in complete kidney failure when I brought him in. But after extensive blood tests and what not it ended up that he contracted Leptospirosis. This is contracted through WILD animal urine. Raccoon, fox, skunk etc. The vet said that Giz could have stepped in it and licked his paw. That's all it takes. This is also highly contagious to other animals in the house and to people!! There is a vaccine for this. Needless to say Gizmo lost the fight and I am devastated and terrified of letting my other fur kids outside till they're vaccinated.
I just wanted let the neighborhood know that there are wild animals around here that are carrying this disease. And you all should be aware of this happening. There has been an extra abundance of Wildlife in the neighborhood this year with all the construction that's been going on.
I don't want this to happen to anyone else's precious fur babies.

There is an extremely low-hanging Branch going across McKinley at the corner of McKinley and Edgewood. The tree is in the green belt. If you don't drive a Mini Cooper you are seriously going to lose your roof or sustained some major damage to your vehicle. This needs to be addressed more sooner than later

if anyone is missing a very small little dog brown and white white paws white on the face purple collar brown ears no identification brown tail. kind of long hair. I don't know if it's a boy or a girl someone else is bringing the dog to the New Haven Animal Shelter over by Southern right now.

Hi all, how do I go about finding who is responsible for a fence and a green space that runs along the side of my home? Meaning is it the property owner, the state or the town? This chain link fence is in horrible condition, it looks like a car drove through it and landed in the yard. This fence needs to be replaced and place with a solid fence. I'm really getting sick and tired of cleaning up garbage, booze bottles, fast food trash, broken glass, beer cans, soda cans, nip bottles and use drug paraphernalia. It's a hazard going in my own yard sometimes and even worse for my dogs. I'm really getting tired of trying to keep my yard nice and clean to only watch booze bottles and fast food trash Etc being thrown over the fence by passing vehicles. And the street side of the fence is even worse. About a month ago the state or the town (I don't know which) came and cut down saplings bushes and other brush and left the debris there and never returned to pick it up.
So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I had posted this on see click and fix a couple weeks ago but have gotten no response. Maybe if I said it was a pothole or someone left their trash can out more than a day I would have gotten a response. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

More than a month ago the town or the state came and cut down trees and bushes on one side of the fence but left all the debris and never came back to get it. Debris is still there.
