  • Street Sweeping Archivado
19 Armory St Hamden, CT, 06517, USA - Hamden
After the customary street flooding associated with the recent heavy rain, the usual area in front of 19 and 31 Armory Street was covered in mud and other debris. We cleaned the debris off of the clogged storm drains, but we would appreciate a pass by the street sweeper to remove the debris along the curb in front of our houses.
Also, the large clump of asphalt that was accidentally deposited in the storm drain when the street was repaved last fall still needs to be removed before it clogs the drain pipes underneath the street.
  • 31 Armory St Hamden, CT, 06517, USA - Hamden
Because of the recent heavy rain and continuous heavy traffic along the eastern end of Armory St., a fairly deep pothole has opened up and needs to be repaired along the edge of the temporary patch over the RWA repair site of the major water main break last month.
  • 19 Armory St Hamden, Connecticut - Hamden
As per the published schedule, garbage pick-up takes place on Armory on Tuesdays. Green garbage bin has been at the curb since Monday night, and has yet to be emptied. Same issue as reported by two neighbors yesterday. Please empty ASAP!
  • Intersection Of Whitney And Armory Hamden, Connecticut - Hamden
The storm drain at this intersection has been completely plugged with sand and other debris for months, complete with grass growing out of the top. Every time it rains, the water runs down onto the low point of Armory Street, exacerbating the constant excessive street flooding issue on Armory. Since the drain is on Whitney, its maintenance is the responsibility of the CT DOT, but a call to their maintenance facility in North Haven about two weeks ago still has not resulted in the cleaning of this drain. Any attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated!
