Damage/vandalism to beach. Looks like someone drove forcibly onto the beach, destroying the barricades and knocking over several posts and a street sign.

Harbour Landing is not maintaining the public access to the shoreline as mandated by law. These planks were removed after Irene, ie last year. The condo needs to be cited by the City for dereliction of duty.

Sidewalk damaged by Sandy. Sunken down. Major trip hazard. ASAP. Corner of Howard ave and south water street, by the beach.

Light only striking occasionally on UI pole 4129 at corner of Howard and Sea Street

Park fence damaged in hit and run. Car ran over fence breaking two sections. Need repair ASAP to retain integrity of park at night. Corner of Sixth and Hallock.

Bayview Park Fence is damaged. Minor vandalism. Needs to get repaired before it gets worse.

Street light out. Flickers but won't "catch". Light #4727.

Was talking my walk around the neighborhood when a sedan with license plate 821-XBE (CT) pulls up. A middle-aged man hops out and looks furtively around.

I think he looks suspicious and observe him. He walks up to the fence surrounding Bayview Park and then proceeds to urinate through the bars! I take a photo with my phone (attached)

He finishes up and walks back to his car. I yell at him telling him that this is a public park and there are kids nearby -- and that there is a McDonalds literally around the corner.

He laughs, tells me he couldn't hold it in, and drives off.

So much for keeping New Haven beautiful.

Someone is stealing the bleacher and park benches from Bayview Park.

At first it was just a few aluminum plank seats, but it's been increasing over the winter.

New seats need to be installed and put in using security bolts and/or stamped with Property of City of New Haven on them.

I can't believe people would steal seats from the little league park. Sheesh. What are they worth in scrap aluminum? And what do they cost the city?

Sigh.
