Does anyone know when the new music venue has to stop playing music? It's 10 pm and I'm not even nearly as close as most of my neighbors to this new experiment, but the music is in my backyard and in my house despite having the TV on at a higher volume than normal. Is this our new weekend normal?? If so is the Westville Music bowl going to pay my taxes for the interruption of the quiet enjoyment of my property?

I can’t have one speaker and a DJ at Edgewood Park during the day at a BBQ because I might bother the neighbors but “Westville Music Bowl” can blast music all night?
This better not be every weekend.

It looks like the Westville Music Bowl didn't turn out the way some residents had hoped. Your alderperson Darryl Brackeen Jr. of Ward 26, made the following comments way back in October 2019 according to a news report by the Hartford Courant:

Then, in January 2020, was the following news about streets being closed for concerts:

But then, in March 2021, was the following news about the plans to close those streets being dropped:

I hope this information helps.
