The City has recieved a similar report in the past. As was previous advised by the HOA President, the lights did not emanate from the golf course. The lights that were reported are from the tennis courts which are open until 8:30pm daily for use by members and the public.
The City was advised the lights are mono-directional, enclosed on five sides, with the only open side pointed in a downward direction. This permits the lights to be contained and directed downward. As in the past, the HOA President has offered to speak with the reportee if desired. You can contact me at 818-597-7314 and provide that contact information that can be passed along to the HOA President. The City will again advise the HOA President of this report.
These lights are from the driving range, not the tennis courts. These lights are very bright and illuminate the driving range and surrounding neighborhood. They are often on past 9:30 p.m. Since I can see them from my window, I know they are the driving range lights. There is no mistaking these lights as tennis court lights.
The City has been advised that lights currently being report as on are in connection with improvements being completed at the driving range. The improvements are schedule to occur for several months. City staff is working with HOA to ensure all activity is in compliance with the CUP issued. We thank you for your patience as this issued is addressed.
Thank you, where can we pick up a schedule listing the improvements? Are they in compliance with the hours for work, & construction, or are the daytime hours less affecting the residential community?
The City does not keep a schedule listing of improvements. Specific questions or information regarding the improvements can be addressed to the staff at 818-597-7342. Construction is permitted from 7am to 7pm, except Sundays and Holidays. The Planning Department is in contact with the the HOA regarding the improvements and improvement operating hours. We thank you for your patience as the issue is addressed.
Who at the planning Dept can neighbors speak with about any of these so called improvements, there again are the hours of 7pm listed to end work.
Aren’t there needed permits if there are improvements that are public record?
Questions regarding the improvements at Lake Lindero County Club can be directed to Jessica Cleavenger at 818-597-7342. We thank you for your patience as this issue is addressed.
There are no "improvements" going on at the club. They are collecting golf balls. We see this go on time and again very late into the evening. They also continue to neglect fixing their driving range nets for months on end allowing balls to fly into the surrounding neighborhood and homes. Why isn't that "improvement" being done. I'm so tired of the club lying about what they're doing and the City of Agoura Hills passing the buck from one person to another. So many people have complained to you about the club (lights on after hours, driving range net full of holes, golf balls flying out of the driving range into homes and yards, etc.) and yet you do nothing. We come to this site to ask you for help and all you do is pass our concerns on to other people in your office (first Louis, then Jessica, etc.) instead of just taking care of the issues. Even for this complaint, you don't believe initially that the lights are coming from the driving range because the HOA tells you it's from the tennis courts, then you make the person filing the complaint do more work without going out yourself to see what's going on. How about you, the City of Agoura Hills, go out and see the lights and nets yourself? Stop passing the buck and ignoring complaints about this club.
