Didn't realize there were strict geographic guidelines for areas of interest. However, since I actually live 2 blocks from the rooster crowing, it is my neighborhood and I do find it annoying. Apparently, there is a local ordinance against keeping roosters within the city limits. I shall call the number you provided XYZ but to whom should the matter be reported?

I have one in my neighborhood, a few blocks away from this reported one. Sometimes it takes a minute for the owners to identify the rooster and to take care of it.
Fountain / Anthony /Fairfield Street area. I don't enjoy it.

Posting is not going to help the police for the most part do not monitor this site. Call 203 946-6316. You can block your number by dialing *67 then the number. This works with most numbers but not with 800 type numbers and 911. You can also call the alderperson.

I guess the problem is their cries of @#$%-a-doodle-do early in the morning. There is a zoning ordinance prohibiting roosters in New Haven. It's ARTICLE IV, Section 34, (g), which states the following:

(g) No rooster shall be kept on any property.
