Hi Frank,
You’re correct, there are many people who have been notified. For this issue, emails have been sent to 17 people; including the following:
Downtown Wooster Square Policing District - Lt. Mark O'Neill
LCI - Downtown/Wooster Square
Regional Water Authority
Ward 7 Alder
If this issue remains ignored, it is because there are some folks who don’t check their emails or who do check their emails, but choose to ignore them or who choose not to post a comment that the issue has been acknowledged.
It is a shame this appears to be indicative of cities that still are not utilizing today’s technology to optimally streamline work processes. There are too many supervisors who barely use online resources and therefore, don’t force their employees to properly use these resources either.
Also, I’m getting tired of people telling us we should have called someone. SeeClickFix is an awesome tool and if all employees would utilize it properly, there would be no need to call someone. Whoever is at the Public Safety phone number 203-946-6316 can easily make configurations so that they’re notified every time someone creates a ticket via SeeClickFix.
Other than issues which would necessitate calling 911, SeeClickFix should be used as the main point of contact for all other issues; just like this one.
So, thank you, Frank for using SeeClickFix the same way I do.

You should let the people know when they see something like this they should call the police 203 946-6316, as soon as possible, They can then post to alert others and to have a record it was called in.
A delay in getting something like this corrected could result in a serious accident, This is why the phone must be used

Hope you called it in because by the time the city sees your post they will probably be gone.

Hi. Really frustrating this keeps happening. Will have my city contact tell this project manager they need to follow the rules. Frank, feel free to contact me directly if it does happen again - easier to see in my email queue than one of many SCF notices. I then can follow up. Think good to document on SCF too - though calling police nonemergency certainly worth trying too if the situation looks concerning....
Sincerely, Abby

Have you tried calling the police when it is happening?

I do not serve either in an official or unofficial capacity.
As far as it not being an emergency thing, I am not suggesting you call 911. you can call the non emergency number 203 946-6316
In your original post on December 19 you stated there was almost an accident.
On December 26 you mention it was happening again.
Considering all of the above doesn't it may sense that you should at least try calling the non-emergency number 203 946-6316.You can then post to alert others and to have a record it was called in.

You first posted about this problem on December 18, 2018 and it still is going on. Why don't you call public safety 203 946-6316 as soon as you see it?
